I understand Israel's problem. It sees its future as non-viable without increasing its scale and population.

I understand the Palestinian's problem. They had their country taken from them and the territory they have left is being taken one hilltop at a time.

It's the same problem. They don't print new land. There is no wild frontier to move into. But the two sides have different amounts of power. Mainly because the US maintains the inequality, in spite of itself. It's a shame Obama didn't do this earlier so that at least the Israelis are not empowered to creep forwards at the expense of the Palestinians. The US can support Israel's right to exist without supporting its ability to expand.

Imagine if tables were turned, how would Netanyahu respond?

Israel needs young blood in power, someone who wants peace & understands Palestinians deserve a home too.

If Trump's pick for Israel ambassador is confirmed, the stances the USA has held though republican & democratic presidents will be turned upside down.

I guess that will hold true for many stances, domestically & internationally.

Thinking about Trump in the Oval is very stressful.
