He thinks of goods as tangible objects. But we live in the digital age. Ideas may begin in the US, get turned into digital form in India, have quality control performed in the UK, get uploaded to a service whose code is written in France, which resides on local servers around the world that make the service international.

How is that an American good? Every part of the procedure involves choices which have little to do with nationality. We live in a world in which the way Trump imagines things might seem coherent if you sell things like buildings or paper clips (although actually materials are sourced from all over the place). But it doesn't really apply to finance or the internet, where borders are porous or non-existent.

I'm wondering what Trump will do with the Iran agreement?
He's been saying he'll renegotiate & get a better deal, or else... sure

He's been threatening 35% tariffs on businesses that move out of the country, if they want to bring their goods back in.... sure

He's been saying he'll be much tougher with ISIS & cripple them. How? he said he doesn't want our troops bogged down in other countries.

Trump is a knee jerk tweeter, something occurs & he reacts.
Mostly if its about him. Like his tweets this morning bitching about Bill Clinton.

I concur with your assessment on Obama & his foreign policy. His biggest mistake was declaring the 'red-line' without follow through. That was it. He lost all credibility after that one.
