My first take is no.

The fertilized embryos must be implanted. The two parents must agree on the implantation. That would be similar to the decision to engage in traditional sexual relations, or not.

Absent human action the embryos do not survive. Once
successfully implanted in a womb they should be afforded human rights.

what do you make of the case of sofia vergara's frozen embryos suing her for the opportunity to be born - and to get access to their trust funds?

let's assume these were the creation of in vitro fertilisation. test tube conception. are they human beings in the csl world view? should they be allowed to sue?
