It is evidence for a point of view not proof.

Years ago my statistics professor used to say "figures don't lie but liars can figure."

I suppose it should be pointed out the situation does not exist in a vacuum. There may be other factors involved.

and guess what - raising the minimum wage didn't do what many (including myself once) argued: that if you do so, jobs will be lost.

in fact, unemployment rates are going down regardless of the increase in the minimum wage.

well, my apologies for contributing actual evidence.

but don't worry. rest assured that it won't stop anyone from saying that raising the minimum wage increases unemployment. because it seems to make sense that it should do so, and suchlike.

who cares about actual experience?
