...does liberty mean the right to keep the proceeds of my labor or does it mean the right for others to plunder the proceeds of my labor? Does equality mean equal opportunity or equal outcome?

...actually it doesn't depend on their understanding of anything. What it depends on is whatever their agenda for the day is.

...as long as it isn't Christianity.
free markets
...as long as they can control what is made, who makes it what it can be sold for and what employees can be paid.
civil rights
...for specific groups that are SPECIAL.
democratic societies
...two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner.
secular governments
...unless they are muslim
gender equality
...does that mean we are going to do away with the Ladies T's on the golf course?
international cooperation.
...only place the international community wants to cooperate with us in in looting the treasury.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
