However, let us remind our friends at the losing donkey side that THEIR GOOD FRIENDS the MOOOSLIMS all were enslaving people from AFRICA LONG before the first one ever came to this country. Hundreds of years longer.....
AND, the Africans themselves would enslave each other.
Then we have the middle east who made slaves out of everyone they ever waged war on and captured. Enire nations were made slaves....
BUT, getting back to the good old USA, it was a horrible thing to ever start, and for the life of me, for such brilliant minds as they had, why did the likes of people like Jefferson, Washington, Madison, et al.... all participate in owning slaves....
I will never understand that facet of the early founders of our country.
LET US also remind those BLACK LIVES MATTER bunch that the PRESIDENT who ended slavery was a Republican.
