I'd pretty much forgotten about today being Cyber Monday, but my darlin' wife reminded me.
I checked out Best Buy and found an okay price on a 15.6" laptop with 1 terabyte hard drive and 6 gigs of memory. Those were my minimum requirements and I'd been trying without success to get one like it all week. I put it into my shopping cart, then checked Amazon and Wal-mart. I didn't see anything nearly as good at either store.
THEN I noticed that the Best Buy laptop has a touchscreen - which usually adds about $100 to the price. So I'm pretty happy.

I'm not looking forward to Windows 10, but my existing laptop has a sometimes-flickering screen that I think will only get worse. So I'll open the new computer, verify that it works, then continue using the old one until it dies. Hopefully not soon.
