We arrived safe and on time. It was only 34Ëš when we landed in Detroit but there was no rain or snow so we had no problem getting to my wife's sister's house (68 miles from the airport). However, they're predicting freezing rain in the morning so we may not be going anywhere much tomorrow.

It's our turn to be in Michigan for Thanksgiving. We fly to Detroit on Tuesdays and return the following Tuesday. We're staying with my wife's sister but will be seeing at least my kid brother and my sister and her husband (they've moved from Venezuela permanently) as well while we're there.

Note that this will be my first flight since before I retired in January. In fact, it's been over 11 months since I've been on a plane. It's my first chance to use some of those air-miles that I have in the 'bank'. I even had a couple of free car-rental days on the books so our expenses will be minimal.
