These are people who were brought here as kids, grew up as any other US born kid, and have no other place and country to call home. They are as American as anyone else here. Anyplace a kid grows in, becomes their home. It is not about where else they can go, it is about where they feel they belong.
They have been forthcoming and signed up for DACA, to become citizens, their addresses are known, they are a vulnerable part of our population, and any attempt at deporting them will cause, in my view, huge riots. It will be a bad idea for the republicans to go after them. Illegals who are criminals, I have no qualms about getting rid of them, but these American kids will be the undoing of the republicans. Allowing them to stay until we sort out the immigration equation is the ONLY prudent approach.
