Among all the usual stuff about a protest vote with terrible consequences, lile their own NO last year, the Brexit vote, and this last one here, this one writer quoted Brecht snd Lincoln.
The first quote from Brecht goes lile this:
Those who don't care about politics are for the politics that is imposed on them.
This is the lesson for those who stayed home and didn't come out and vote for Hillary. I doubt though that they ever read anything worthy in their lives, otherwise they would have voted.
The Lincoln quote goes like this, paraphrasing:
A vote is stronger than a bullet. With a bullet you kill your enemy. With a vote you destroy the future of your children.
Both were true in 2000, and again now. We know what the 2000 election results were, 8 years later, under similar vote tallies. We fear what this one will do, not in 8 years but in much less time. I give it just a year.
