Wasn't there some sort of 'investigation' by the FBI into whether there contacts between the Trump campaign and Moscow? If what the Russians are sawing is true, then what did Comey and the FBI know and when did they know it and why did they not pursue this? Was Comey and the FBI that much in the bag for Trump that they ignored possible treasonous behavior? I would like to hear what Attorney General to-be Rudy Giuliani will say about this development? Can you image what would have been the story if the shoe had been on the other foot. Look at how many times that the Trump people suggested that Hillary should be denied intelligence briefings because of their claim that she was too loose with classified material. Well, has anyone asked how much of what Trump and his people learned during their intelligence briefings may have made it into the hands of Russian officials?

TIES THAT BIND
Russia: We Did Work With Team Trump

Russian officials have said they were in contact with many of President-elect Donald Trump’s campaign team during the run-up to the U.S. presidential election. Despite the fact that Trump’s team has repeatedly denied this assertion, Russia on Thursday confirmed it.

“There were contacts” before the election, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov reportedly said Thursday. “Obviously, we know most of the people from his entourage... I cannot say that all of them, but quite a few have been staying in touch with Russian representatives.”

He added, “We continue this work, of course.” Members of Trump’s team also met with Russian embassy staff, which Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called “normal practice.” Hillary Clinton had refused similar meetings, she said.
