On the subject of selling insurance across state lines, there are no federal laws that would have to be changed since there are NO restrictions at the federal level. It's up to the states, not Washington, but then that's where the problem is, it's already been tried and the insurance companies wanted no part of it. The real irony is that the ONLY current insurance program that operates across ALL the state lines is Medicare, which is as close to a 'single payer' system that we have in America today. So if you think that delivering health insurance coverage across state lines is the solution, then lets start by allowing anyone and everyone to opt into Medicare, or what Bernie Sanders called Medicare Part 'E', where the 'E' stood for 'Everyone'. This would be what has been called a 'public option' which is what the Dems and Obama wanted right from the beginning. So the solution to all of this was there for the asking, but the Repubs killed it.

They are proposing the same failed crap Bush pushed for that went nowhere.

Same thing with Social Security privatization. It went nowhere.

People DO NOT WANT ANY OF THAT SHIT!

Obamacare is a PRIVATE INSURANCE PROGRAM. The only thing government is involved in it is to enforce RULES that make with insurance companies offering insurance and not promises of. If it needs fixing, FIX what NEEDS FIXING.

The one thing I've always said about it and don't get, and also the one thing I agree with Trump on is WHY CAN'T INSURANCE COMPANIES COMPETE ACROSS BORDERS? Who came up with the dumb idea to allow 25 companies to compete in NY, but have only one monopoly in some states? That's problem NO 1.

FIX IT. Anyone who proposes dumping Obamacare is a shallow thinker, partizan, or just plain stupid and doesn't get how it works, Like Donald Duck, who is now forced to read from a prompter after he made a fool of himself shouting out loud that his employees in Florida were suffering from Obamacare, only to be corrected by his managers there that they use "OTHER PRIVATE INSURANCE PROVIDED BY THE BUSINESS", HIS BUSINESS.

Some people are dumb, others stay dumb because they refuse to think for themselves and not allow an idiot to tell them what's what.
