when the car first acted up, (running fine, driving fine and suddenly you can stomp on the gas pedal and go nowhere), it sputtered and moved at about ten MPH then just as suddenly, took off and ran normally again.

Now remember, this is mrs. micro telling me this.

SO, with one quarter tank, I went to Shell and filled up with V-Power gasoline, then added a bottle of fuel system cleaner. She drove 160 miles and it acted up again yesterday.

This time I went and got some DRY GAS and dumped it into the tank, and went to Shell and filled up half the tank again with V-power for the cleaners.

Since, I have driven it about 50 miles purring like a kitten. HAd it up to a little over 80 MPH on the interstate and drove all over backroads with NO problems.

Mrs. just left the house to go somewhere. I wonder if she will come back and tell me the car messed up again?

I even took out all 4 NGK igh performance plugs, inspected them, wire brushed them, (they were burning clean) and re-installed.)

I guess we will see. I hope I don;t have to change that inline filter. It is in a not very good spot on the car, under the chassis and next to the left side of the gas tank. Great........
Then you has to relieve the pressure from the fuel line by taking off the wiring harness going to the fuel filter inside your gas tank, start the car and run until it dies, remove negative battery cable from battery, and then you can begin to kill yourself removing this filter, assuming you can get your hands on it...

I assure you, MY HANDS are never gonna touch it. Too much twisting and bending and my lower vertebrae won;t let me do that.

SO, Grog, it is an excellent suggestion and I thank you! I am at this moment in time hoping beyond hope the dry gas helps get rid of all the droplets of water and problem goes away. Otherwise it goes to the GARAGE and some mechanic will wrestle with it, but not me...

Maybe I can go out and annoint the car with some snake oil or something????????
