They need a majority in the Senate and the House to do anything significant. So crossing fingers.

Obamacare needs its minor fixes. And the loan system for higher education is just driving up prices and leaving a typical student with a mortgage over their career, which isn't a good thing if you also want people to take risks with innovative ideas to deliver a stronger economy. Massive loans are the new form of serfdom. But it's serfdom to the banks and employers, rather than to the manorial lords of yesteryear.

At least court vacancies can be filled with a Senate majority.

As a disproportionate % DJT's support is from non-collage educated white men (blue collar guys) which were traditionally a democratic voting demographic, I wonder how they will vote (if they do) in their House & Senate races? I speculate enough may split their vote to add a little unpolled boost to Dem candidates in some tightly contested elections. Unions still have sway, particularly in the rust belt. It's a hunch that hopefully proves correct and is enough to win back the Senate and 15-20 House seats.
