"Trump is destroying the republican party, they are complicit."

Just like its refusal to consider a Supreme Court nominee renders the Republican Party's claim to guardianship of the Constitution laughable, the Christian Right's claim to moral authority is cratered by their support for the lewd Trump.

What is left? They no longer support free trade. Private property rights submit to a rich man's claim to eminent domain. The foreign policy thought leaders have abandoned ship en masse.

Basically, the main surviving planks of the Republican platform are low taxes for the wealthy and gun rights. That's the irreducible heart of what is risibly described as Conservatism.

Trump is the catalyst which reveals the bankruptcy of the right in the US. There's nothing left but tribal loyalty (guns) and submission to money (trickle up economics). And the broad and controlling anger generated by Conservative media to keep incurious folks in the tent.

What will Mike Pence do?
Every republican will be asked, do they still support Trump?
Trump is destroying the republican party, they are complicit.
His apology was arrogant, resentful, & threatening to take his revenge out on the Clinton's.
Its reported he had an adviser in the room who told him NOT to bring up the Clinton's in his apology. As usual, he didn't heed the advice...

Gotta believe there is more to come, they are saying lots of stuff filmed when he was doing The Apprentice.

Congressman Jason Chaffetz withdraws his endorsement of Donald Trump

Earlier Friday, Utah Gov. Gary Herbert also reacted to the footage and stated he would not vote for Donald Trump.

House Speaker Paul D. Ryan disinvites Trump to campaign event, says he's 'sickened' by tape.
