Since North Carolina is an 'open carry' state (with no need for a permit), how is it that Keith Scott was shot simply because he had a gun in his hand? Unless the police can prove that he was threatening someone with a gun, there was no legal reason to even try and take it away from him since he had the RIGHT to possess it.
