And I suppose that Congressional Republicans, having withheld full funding for the CFPB, which limited the number and extent of the cases that it could investigate at any one time, had nothing whatsoever to do with them having been "late coming to the table", eh?

Obviously, the writer of this article didn't bother to observe the Senate hearing yesterday. Had he/she done so - this erroneous/misleading headline would not have been used.

It was NOT the CFPB that uncovered the scandal. It was first the L.A. Times,, then the L.A. City Attorney's Office. As was even pointed out by one of the senators - the CFPB was "rather late coming to the table".

The Hearing was quite interesting. Anyone else watch it?
