Hi CF. "If he's even too crazy for the neocons, then he's definitely in loopy territory." I suspect a lot of the motivation for neocons not supporting Trump is concern over losing their control of the GOP to the new coalition Trump has created. Trump is clearly no conservative and if he was to win, they lose. If Hil wins, they live for another day.

... for the moment at least.

42.5% was the high water mark. He's back down to 42.2%. The poll trendline is like a rack of jagged teeth. Up and down week by week but horizontal month by month.

She's still losing a bit of ground, but the effect of her backing cast is about to kick in. Sanders is on the trail. So are the Obamas. Biden is in. Warren is biting. So I suspect her next move is back up towards 48% from 46%.

Plus, it is clear that the Republican Defense establishment has moved decisively out of the Trump camp en masse. If he's even too crazy for the neocons, then he's definitely in loopy territory.
