...the age for voting prior to that was set by the
States. In Georgia ya have always been able to vote at 18. The 25th amendment only made 18 the National
Standard. I have been voting since I was a senior in high school.

You were older when they lowered the voting age.

Ratified July 1, 1971. The 26th Amendment changed a portion of the 14th Amendment.
Section 1.
The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.
