enjoy the sport, have since I was a kid, and while it is not the World Cup, Germany vs Brazil for the Gold in Rio and going to shoot-out with the home team taking it is pretty cool stuff.
The mustard pots managed a return to the Premiership while I was in that neck of the woods (I know, the Canaries, the mustard thing having passed), it meant a lot in East Anglia ... but those Germans take thier football (soccer) as seriously as anybody, except maybe the Brazillians.
So it was a fitting final.
It is one thing I have always loved about FA football that we don't have here ... relegation and promotion. It makes one care about the bottom of the league along with the top.
