Wonder what the heck they are doing that the other teams cannot replicate.
It appears not to be doping.
Does Britain have a larger talent pool?
Is it something special in the bike design (the French complained the wheels on the British bikes were unfairly round at the London Olympics!)?
Or the fact that they are focussed on the Olympics rather than the championships in between?
Clearly has folks baffled. They have been nearly invincible for three Olympics in a row. They win the majority of their races and they always win a medal. There has to be a secret ingredient.
Closest British analogy I can think of is when we had three brilliant middle distance runners during a short period. But the cyclists are more numerous.
