Nicolle Wallace: The Republican Party ‘Died in This Room Tonight’

Longtime Republican Nicolle Wallace declared on NBC tonight, “The Republican party that I worked for for two decades died in this room tonight.”

She specifically pointed to Trump’s beliefs in “protectionism, isolationism, and nativism,” calling these the kind of things Republicans like George W. Bush were so worried about.

“The voters picked this guy,” Wallace said. “THis is where the Republican party is now… The party I was part of for two decades is dead.”
