And now it's being rumored that Trump is refusing to accept Ms. McIver's written resignation since to do so would be to admit that plagiarism actually took place, since the official position of the campaign remains that nothing of the sort took place and that the media frenzy is all Hillary's fault.

And the controversy is not over yet as it appears that Ms. McIver may have broken federal law if she provided material help to the campaign while on the payroll of The Trump Organization, a privately owned corporation.
