The vast majority of mass shootings are committed by people who are mentally unfit to own a gun. How is this the fault of any administration, particularly one who has fought to get better background checks that just might have prevented some of these nut-jobs from getting guns in the first place?
...you guys will not be happy as long as anyone has a gun other than the government and possibly a few minority street gangs. Ya after what ya call Assault Rifles now but when Reagan was shot ya went after revolvers as well. When Kennedy was shot with a bolt action rifle ya went after them too. Folks know that when the liberal gun control camel gets it's nose in the tent it will not be long before it is all in there. No point in pretending otherwise.

...background checks? Ya mean like anyone on the no fly list not being able to get a gun? All that means is that some nameless faceless bureaucrat can stick you on a no fly list and deny your second amendment rights. If ya tried to pass a law where anyone who could not pass a background check also could not fly you guys would piss in your pants.
...another thing, as long as I am on the subject, What's all this crap about "Common Sense" gun laws. Who gets to decide what common sense is? If it's me, I'm all for it.
