I spend half years between the two. I am in NY now, going down to south Fl tomorrow for a few days to take care of a few things, but I love south FL. It is not the old Florida there anymore. My neighbors have young kids, cycling has replaced golf, and food is awesome. Young people and families everywhere, and the spanish speakers are awesome people, ride with them all the time. some are born there others are from all the way to Argentina and Brazil. Great crowd. No one talks politics, we just ride like devils, drink beer afterwards, and occasionally barbecue argentinian Churasco beef at night, after a ride, till 1 am.

Ft Lauderdale is quite busy, but the area between there and Delray beach is awesome, and that includes west into Weston, amazing place and Parkland, awesome areas/neighborhoods, and then everything in between.
