Chris Christie calls for military strike after Orlando shooting

During an appearance of the 'Boomer and Carton' show on WFAN sports radio, Gov. Chris Christie argued that the U.S. should take military action in response to the Orlando terrorism attack.

"You've got to get over there and make them pay where they live," Christie said, according to an NJ.com report. "It is unacceptable to allow this type of stuff in our country and for us to not fight back," he said. "We've got to fight back."

On Monday, residents of Orlando mourned the 49 people killed inside a gay nightclub as federal investigators examined possible motives for the gunman who committed the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
