Well, we got home yesterday evening. The trip was fine. We only got rained on once, coming thru San Antonio on our way to our son's house. The graduation went off without a hitch, just that it took over two hours as there were 738 graduates.

Our side-trip to Waco was fine as well and while we were the, we got to see the 'Dr Pepper Museum'.

Back in Houston we went to the 'Houston Museum of Natural Science'. We spent nearly five hours there as our youngest granddaughter (age 11) "wanted to see everything" and we almost did.

Not sure if I'll be able to catch-up on the postings as it seems things have really backed-up since I was last on-line (not having a laptop anymore is the pits).

My wife and I leave for Texas in the morning (BTW, do you still call it a 'vacation' if you're retired?) to attend our oldest granddaughter's high school graduation on Sunday. We're stopping in El Paso tomorrow night and then on to Katy by Friday evening.

Next week, we're going up to Waco (if we don't flooded out ;-) for a couple of days to visit some friends.

We start back on Sunday the 12th and should be home by Monday evening. Also, our granddaughter, the one who's graduating, will be coming back with us to spend the summer so we'll have a chance to play grandparents for a few months.
