What I think is the case is this: He was at least bi, he was frustrated, couldn't come out, tell his father, etc. and he was basically fighting himself and wanted to die and take with him as many as he could. The ISIS claims were just a screen at the last moment to hide the real reasons.
The truth will be known, and it will be what I said. Devout muslims do not drink, and do not get drunk like he did. This guy was a conflicted gay/muslim who hated himself and found a way to die without anyone ever knowing he liked MEN.
There are too many people talking now, who knew him from gay bars and internet sites, for anyone to ignore these facts.
