...speaking of BETTER DONE ya might want to pick up a copy of MAN IN THE WILDERNESS. It's from the same story that REVENANT (new dicaprio movie) was made. It's a helluva lot better and there is no pushing of political correctness as in REVENANT

ALONE probably won't be available ON DEMAND either, but I'll check tonight.

I remember being hooked on ROOTS when it aired in the '70s, but I watched the first part of the new version and was bored. What does it add except a bunch of unnecessary and unwanted references to Allah?

As a rule in music and movies, if you have nothing new to say, don't do a re-make.

I think the first ROOTS was better done. I doubt I'll ever watch the remainder of this one.
