I remember being hooked on ROOTS when it aired in the '70s, but I watched the first part of the new version and was bored. What does it add except a bunch of unnecessary and unwanted references to Allah?

I think the first ROOTS was better done. I doubt I'll ever watch the remainder of this one.

It appears that ALONE has been pre-empted by yet another showing of ROOTS which has only been shown more times than PREDATOR, TERMINATOR and ALIEN all rolled together. I have enjoyed about all the diversity I can stand.
