This reminds me of a vacation my Mom and I took to Alaska
one year . . . it was one of those eco-tour type vacations.
We spent several days and nights in this little lodge
up in Denali National Park. The Grizzly bears ran
around like they owned the place.
One morning I was thinking about going out and picking
some blue berries to go with breakfast (or maybe in
the muffins.) Anyway, I saw this little shaggy mountain
go ambling by . . .
Mr. Grizzly Bear had the berry patch all to hisself that morning.

I am also advised that bears will avoid ya if possible and for that reason ya should wear some little bells that make noise so they will hear ya coming. Other folks advise that carrying pepper spray is a good idea.
Ya can also tell what kind of bears are about by examining their poop. Black bears will have leaves and berrie seeds in in and will smell veggie in nature. Grizzly bears will have little bells in it and will smell like pepper spray.
