The White House and the Treasury Department were on lockdown Friday while the police investigated a shooting near the White House, federal law enforcement officials said. A man was shot and wounded and was taken to a hospital, an official said. President Obama was away at the time, playing golf at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.
