If you've studied John Maynard Keynes, you'll remember the most intelligent thing he ever said:

"In the long run, we're all dead."

...a guy on radio the other day says "We are all going to get old, we are all going to get sick and we are all going to die, and that is if everything goes well.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

re: "De, can you survive Hillary being
elected President?"

Until government brings its guns to my front door, I'll probably be able to get by. Government isn't usually very interested in dropouts. If you don't rely on and use its money, it has little leverage.

I don't expect to be a total dropout. I'll have my pension. I'll be paying taxes (mostly property taxes.) I'll use the government medical system (since I have no other choice.) I'll use government electricity - until it fails me. Electricity is just too hard to produce on my own. Social Security might even live long enough to return some of my money to me. (I'm not counting on it.)

So I'll use government services and money as long as they're around. But, mostly, my income and spending will fall precipitously and even Hillary's government isn't going to consider me a prime target. You can't get blood from a turnip, as they say, and that's what I'm going to do my best to resemble. Hopefully they won't want my blood. If I'm wrong, then I guess my attempts to survive will have been in vain.

"In the long run, we're all dead."

Yup.
