GOP Senator Not Ready to Endorse Trump: ‘He Scares Me to Death’

Republican Senator Mike Lee, the first senator who endorsed Ted Cruz this cycle, said today he has serious concerns about Donald Trump keeping him from endorsing or supporting the GOP nominee.
According to The Washington Examiner, Lee spoke to constituents at a tele-town hall today that he doesn’t like Trump or Hillary Clinton, so he doesn’t know what to do yet.
He said, “I have not supported Donald Trump up to this point, I have not endorsed him. I have some concerns with him. He scares me to death; so does Hillary Clinton. There is no easy choice right now.”
Lee used similar language to Paul Ryan in saying he’s not “there yet” on Trump (though Ryan never got quite as harsh as “he scares me to death”).
Back in November, when asked about endorsing Trump, Lee was literally speechless and joked about it, avoiding the endorsement issue altogether until he decided on Cruz later.
