knowing your musical talents and hence, artistic aptitude, the real answer for the question is:
How are the two youngsters performance grades in the high school they attend? (GPA and Honors and AP classes)

How do their SAT scores in comparison.

Third, is your son BLACK by any chance, or perhaps from an African country???
Is he a LBGT person?

Either of those would almost automatically get him in..

Years ago, my daughter and I REJECTED Harvard's acceptance letter into their into BOTH the undergrad school and later, the LAW Department.

She went on to William and Mary where as an L3 student on the Law Review where she won the annual competition among Law Students from various colleges across the country beating the Harvard kid, the Yale Kid, and every single other Ivy League student and Standford and Michigan college law student.

You don;t have to attend Harvard to get a quality education and become a flaming liberal, which happens to MOST kids who go there and other places even though they are from very conservative households.

Be careful who you let influence your student. There are plenty of top 50 smaller universities where your son can get every bit as good an education and a lot more personalized attention.

WHAT does he want to study and be when he graduates?
