Kind of like why we had to do away with Chlordane to get rid of ants, spiders, termites. CHlordane was great when it was used in accordance with directions.

Now, you can't hardly kill a freaking mosquito or a termite.

DDT when it was used for twenty did more good in saving human lives in third world countries where people were almost guaranteed to get malaria and die because of the overwhelming presence of disease carrying mosquitos. DDT had over an 80 percent success rate in reducing the deaths among people.

However, those who wanted to de-populate the planet had to get rid of this and other chemicals in order to try to control the planet's population...

So the myths and propaganda were started and spread and these products were demonized, even though world leaders like Winston Churchill applauded them and their help in eliminating many widespread diseases.

ANd now we have ZIKA. If it is mosquito spread, kill the freaking mosquitos. They did back in the mid-1990's and it worked. It would work again.
