Good advice, without a doubt. But it IS one of the new ones... supposedly very hard to counterfeit. It's got the reflective gold, the image of Franklin that you can only see if you hold the bill up to a bright light, the holographic blue bar, etc. And it's certainly abraded, particularly on the back. Looks to me like it's lain out there for a few years.
