and this is why there's hostility to moslem immigration. the cost to everyone else of a group amongst whom there are many that refuse to join in and want their own laws. and amongst whom there are some who want to destroy those who took them (or their parents) in.
if you pretend this ain't so, you end up not understanding the response. if refugees want to impose their own culture on the recipient society, is it any wonder that folks are wary of inviting them?
maybe america is better at assimilation. or maybe it just has fewer moslems so the problem is less obvious for now.
