There are several criticisms implicit in the campaigns of Trump and Sanders which need to be addressed by the next administration:
1. Economic inequality is a big issue. The people suffering from the poverty end of the deal are righteously angry.
2. Saddling young people with massive and increasing educational debts is a problem, not a solution.
3. The US is bearing too much of the West's defense burden. Others need to step up.
4. US Corporate tax rates are too high but taxes on upper tier personal wealth are insufficient.
5. Currently, no one has a solution to the issues of Islamism, but we need one and the status quo ain't working.
