He makes non-orthodox opinions possible. Indeed, I suspect this is one of his charms as far as his supporters are concerned.
The sorts of people that get offended by little things have held sway for too long. It's quite a release to hear someone being offensive, even if what he says is often silly.
Knee-jerk offense Nazis need to be swept away. They make people afraid to express themselves.
That's not to say we need more oafish commentary. But it would be nice to get rid of the tiresome and petty micro-management of what folks say in the public domain when it is both thoughtful and different.
