You see folks repeating Hillary liar as if it is an established fact, when the facts seem largely absent. The latest effort concerns emails in which the issue is again prejudged. Where are the emails marked "Secret" at the time they were written? If there are none, then the situation is much more minor - only a little different from anyone who has a private email account as well as one they use for corporate/ government purposes. Sounds like she also was using a separate email address for emails defined as secret at the time. So there's a misjudgement of the sort we all make about where to draw the line between work and home. But no material threat to national security.
Is it just a Republican strategy thing they developed when they were afraid they couldn't beat her? I think so. And so it just rolls through Fox News day after day.
Are listeners susceptible to this sort of method of undermining message. Of course.
Is undermining someone baselessly a dishonest way to operate? Of course.
The party that invented swiftboating is capable of using dastardly tactics. And that is what they are prepared to do to win.
