My wife is a real coffee aficionado (she once worked 3rd shift in a hospital) and here's what a section of the counter in our kitchen looks like:
As you can see, she's prepared for every possible situation; if she wants to have fresh ground coffee, she uses the Cuisinart. If she wants a single cup quickly, she uses the Keurig. And if she has some ground coffee and again only wants one or two cups, she can opt for her little Mr Coffee.
As for me, it's just wasted counter space in my opinion as I've never had a cup of coffee in my life
