The irony of course is that the people who want to outlaw abortion are the same people who would make contraceptives illegal (at least for women) if they were given the chance.

Which brings us to the real reason that the Right is trying to shut down Planned Parenthood. It's not ONLY about abortion, since that makes up less than 5% of the services that they provide women, but rather they are also focusing on one of Planned Parenthood's CORE activities, that is 'family planning' (AKA, contraceptive services). In reality this is often seen as being even more offensive to many on the Right since it gives women of all ages and economic situations control over the own bodies, something they fear more than anything.

One thing about birth control,
no babies are killed. If a mother
can have an abortion and kill her
baby, why can she not kill her 16
year old? A life is a life.
