I get the whole danger thing, short of his reality TV show political campaign we have essentially no evidence for anything, hence the thought experiment. The other part is largely my point ... if the left is cohesive and the right is in shambles and the POTUS is none of the above it seems there is a better chance of progress on the left's agenda than a return to the last 8 years i.e. a DEM in the White House unifies the right, at least enough to be effective at obstruction.

Haven't you heard, Mitch McConnell has let republicans up for reelection know they don't need to support Trump (even if he is the nominee).

Trump is DANGEROUS for Americans! and the rest of the world if he was elected!
