It has been durably the case that Trump does very poorly in second choice polling. With a packed field it is perhaps best to look at the sum of first plus second choice for each candidate. Rubio has knocked out Bush, he will get effectively all of those votes IMO. Only Cruz can save trump by continuing to divide the opposition. The GOP primary electorate is conservative, Trump is not, that will eventually carry the day.
