When I was in Jackson WY, I almost purchased a beautiful switchblade at a knife store there, that had so many knives, you'd get dizzy. Unfortunately, the prices for switchblades were north of $350. It was a 2 1/2" size, just like the same size folding knife I always carry with me. Don't see the difference. I got that one in Moab, UT, it is a Browning knife. Didn't know they made knives.......

If someone wants to knife someone, the knife used doesn't matter. Many people carry small knives, and they are just as deadly.

Guns are a different story.

When will the police voice their concern with this...

NEW INFORMATION: Walker to sign bill legalizing concealed switchblades

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Scott Walker is set to sign a bill that would allow people to carry concealed switchblades and knives.

The governor plans to the sign the measure Saturday afternoon at the National Rifle Association and Wisconsin FORCE's annual convention in Weston. Wisconsin FORCE, or Firearm Owners, Ranges, Clubs and Educators, is an NRA-chartered association that advocates for the right to bear arms.

Manufacturing, selling, transporting, purchasing or possessing a switchblade has been illegal in Wisconsin for decades. The Republican-authored bill eliminates the prohibition as well as permits anyone who can legally possess a gun to carry concealed knives of any length without a concealed carry license. The bill also bars local governments from enacting knife regulations stricter than state law.
