I was always opposed to the Iraq invasion, and believed the democrats were boxed in to vote 'for' the war.
To do otherwise they risked being labeled UN-American & UN-Patriotic.
I don't give them credit for caving, but given the circumstances after 9/11 I understood their no-win situation.
