And given I just went all in on Cruz, I guess we will see. I heard D&O's spouse makes a mighty murder stew.
I stay away from the Trump bashing. Given that the GOP is a pretty solid favorite to win the office, I would prefer Trump to any of the rest.
His body of work (his mouth) is considerably more liberal than the rest of the field, in some ways more liberal than HRC.
All the venom stuff just washes over me. I remember being rather concerned about Ronnie's rhetoric, evil empires, winnable nuclear wars etc. The START treaty was what we got out of that, the START treaty is not a bad thing, and it NEVER could have been negotiated by a Democrat, they are not trusted in such matters (as Nixon said when asked about VietNam and Kennedy/Johnson and whether he would have gone in - "I don't know, but at least I would have had a choice").
So, moving on, who does Trump pick for VP? It would be the first actual thing politically he has ever really done, it is a durable event, as opposed to floppy talk about big walls a racially based legal policy.
He would likely, e.g., put a moderate or even liberal on SCOTUS. He's on the record saying he worries he might knock up one of his daughters, so needless to say, he's likely pro-choice. You just can't make this guy up.
