BTW, I'm familiar with the area where that 47 cent gas war is being waged (I grew-up approximately 50 miles from there). Back when I graduated and got my first engineering job there used to gas wars all the time in Michigan. But this was back before the oil embargo in 1973-74. Since then, I've never heard of that happening much. I guess the oil glut is having its effect in many different ways. Wait until all that new Iranian crude hits the markets. This is why the Saudis were pulling those stupid stunts a few weeks ago. They were hoping to get Iran to react in such a way that they could then demand that the sanctions not be lifted, but I have to give the Tehran regime credit for not taking the bait and to even go out of their way to not provoke anyone, even to the point of releasing without a fuss those Navy guys/gal and to come through with the release of those Americans they holding as political prisoners.
