That's a load of crap. For all intents and purposes the ACA was written by the Heritage Foundation and most every thing demanded by the Republicans (or they wouldn't vote for the bill) was included, and then in the end NOT ONE SINGLE Republican voted for it. If I had been Obama I would vetoed the bill and gone back to Congress and told them that if the Republicans weren't going to vote for it anyway, to write the bill that THEY wanted, not the watered-down version that was passed.

BTW, it doesn't help the mood for compromise much if the Republicans hold a secret meeting the same night that Obama was inaugurated to work out a four year plan to stop him from doing anything so to assure that he would only be a one-term President.

...obama hasn't offered a compromise since he took office and he has promptly rejected any and all republican suggestions on any bill. He is MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY OBAMA. It takes two to compromise.
